Home WIFI Services in Sussex

Are you looking for faster WIFI around your home? you are in the right place as we have vast experience in WIFI distribution for buildings where the router alone is struggling to give a decent WIFI coverage.

Why your WIFI is slow

Your WIFI connection from your router to your WIFI enabled device will be strongest when that device is close to the router.  When the WIFI enabled device moves away from the router, the WIFI signal decreases, this is also the case with obstacles such as walls.

Lets say your mobile phone is connected to your WIFI router, you will be getting close to the maximum broadband speeds if you are close to the router, and you will find that those broadband speeds will get slower when you move further away.

There is not really a set rule distance as every home structure s different where some houses really restrict the WIFI signals due to type of building materials used during construction.

Mesh WIFI

Mesh WIFI

A mesh WIFI network distributes WIFI evenly around the home and can be extended to cover larger areas. Mesh devices act as a relay by passing WIFI signals from once point to another.

Access Point

Access points extend the WIFI network from the router or a local network point. Access points are great for extending WIFI to different areas. Multiple access points can be used for greater areas.

Router WIFI

The WIFI router in the main point in your home that that transmits the WIFI signal from a single area. There are many different types of WIFI that can be used and some come with getter features than the one provided by your internet provider.

How our WIFI Service Works

Firstly we send out a quotation for the system and configuration. The quotation is based off a site visit or a description of the home and requirement from the customer.

Once the quotation and installation date has been agreed, we will then visit the home to complete the WIFI installation.

The WIFI installation and configuration typically takes around 2-4 hours for a standard installation.

Once the installation and configuration is complete, we will then test all areas to make sure the WIFI coverage is excellent through the home.

We are based in Eastbourne, East Sussex, and we cover the whole of Sussex.

Get Faster Internet Speeds with WIFI 6

What is WIFI 6?

WiFi 6 is the next generation standard in WiFi technology.

WiFi 6 also known as “AX WiFi" or "802.11ax WiFi” builds and improves on the current 802.11ac WiFi standard. Wi-Fi 6 was originally built in response to the growing number of devices in the world. If you own a VR device, multiple smart home devices, or simply have a large number of devices in your household, then a Wi-Fi 6 router might just be the best WiFi router for you. In this guide, we’ll go over Wi-Fi 6 routers and break down how they’re faster, increase efficiency, and are better at transferring data than previous generations.

Improve your WIFI with a Mesh Network

A mesh network is designed to blanket your home with wireless coverage, WiFi systems are a hybrid of sorts, made up of various networking components. There's a main router that connects directly to your router, and a series of satellite modules, or mesh devices, that are placed placed throughout your home. They are all part of a single wireless network, and they share the same WIFI name and password. Unlike range extenders, which communicate with the router via the 2.4GHz or 5GHz radio bands, most Wi-Fi system satellites use mesh technology to talk to the router and to each other.

Each node serves as a hop point for other nodes in the system. This helps the nodes farthest from the router to deliver a strong Wi-Fi signal as they are talking to other nodes and not relying on one-to-one communications with the router. Not all Wi-Fi systems use mesh networking, however; some use a dedicated radio band to communicate with the router and with each other. As with mesh, the dedicated band frees up the standard-use 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands for client use.

Our Latest WIFI Installation in Eastbourne, East Sussex

We received an enquiry from a resident in Eastbourne who asked if we could increase their WIFI coverage around their home and garden. The customer had just upgraded to fast fibre, but the internet speeds around the home were still pretty slow in comparison to their new fibre speeds.

After a visit to the home we decided to install 4 x Unifi access points, luckily the home was going through some renovation so we were able to run Cat6 data cables under the floor boards.

We also installed an external Unifi access point in the garden which covered the full area including the outbuilding.

The work was completed in 6 hours and the customer now has a fast and secure WIFI network around the home and garden
